Leather FAQ

Q. Which is stronger, hand-stitched or machine-stitched leather?
A. Hand-stitched products are studier due to the nature of the stitches used. However, since hand stitching is time-consuming, it is more expensive.

Q. How do I protect leather shoes from water?
A. You can waterproof leather to a limited extent by using a spray or wax made for leather. It will help the water bead up and roll off. However, this approach offers only limited protection against water. Another solution is to wear a waterproof overshoe to protect your leather footwear during a rainy spell.

Q. What is the most common type of leather?
A. The most common type of leather is harvested from cattle.
