This page explains how to delete your National Day Calendar account (the one you use in the National Day Calendar app and on nationaldaycalendar.com). Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the National Day Calendar app and sign in.
- Go to My Days and open Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Enter your password if asked, type DELETE to confirm, and tap the delete button.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.
Can't use the app? Ask us by email
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email
[email protected]
from the email address on the account with the subject "Delete my National Day Calendar account". We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we will delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, password and birthday (month and day)
- Your saved days, the days you celebrated, your history, streaks, points and badges
- Your sign-in sessions and any linked Google, Apple or Facebook logins
- The push notification tokens registered for your devices
- Your newsletter subscription. Your email address is removed from our email list.
- Your word search game data: progress, scores, visits and feedback. Past leaderboard placings stay on the board, but as "Deleted player" with no name or email.
What is kept
- Backups. Our database backups are kept for 7 days, so deleted data can remain in a backup for up to 7 days before it is overwritten.
- Advertising partners. Our advertising partners handle data they collect through ads under their own policies. Deleting your account does not delete it.
- Orders. Purchases made in our shop are held by our store provider, Ecwid, and are not part of this account.
