MOVEMBER
Movember is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of all the men in your life. The month commitment to Movember takes on three serious issues facing men’s health – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.
C’mon – these are our dads, brothers, uncles, husbands, and friends we’re talking about.
You know they always have your back, even when your the one who says, “Hold my beer.” Around the campfire when stories of our youth unfold, that’s where they stay. These are the men who moved us six times in one year and once in a fourth-floor walk-up with no elevator. They don’t say, “I told you so,” when really they should. And when you get it right, they cheer you on louder than your mother could. Speaking of your mother, boy do they all love her.
But one thing they really don’t do so well is talk about and take action on these three important things.
HOW TO OBSERVE #Movember
It’s really not that hard. Bring the gang together for three important reasons so you can have more good times for a long time (and more of your mom’s lasagna).
1. grow your mustache for charity and raise some money for charity.
2. walk or run a distance of 60 miles for each of the 60 men lost to suicide each hour.
3. host an event to raise funds for charity.
Use #Movember to post on social media.
