Founded by Triage Cancer, a national nonprofit organization, National Health Care Rights Day seeks to empower patients by ensuring they are well-informed about their health care rights and options. Triage Cancer has been at the forefront of providing education on the practical and legal issues that may impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and other chronic diseases.
"Our goal with National Health Care Rights Day is to highlight the necessity of making comprehensive health care information readily available to patients," said a representative from Triage Cancer. "We believe that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions that positively impact their health outcomes."
