1-2 mediums heads of garlic
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Slice the top quarter-inch off of each head of garlic.
Place each head in foil and drizzle with olive oil.
Wrap the foil around the garlic and place it on a baking pan.
Roast for about 30 minutes.
Roasted garlic will spread like butter on bread. It will also add wonderful flavor to mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Mix it into mayo or use it as a base for a homemade pizza.
