Ingredients:
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup buckwheat pancake mix
2/3 cup flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 cup milk
1 egg
6 hot dogs
6 wooden skewer
Instructions:
Run skewers up through each hot dog.
Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well.
Bring 3 cups of vegetable oil to 350 degrees in a deep fryer.
Dip hot dogs in batter and fry oil until golden brown.
Cool on a paper towel.
