NATIONAL FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDERS DAY

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Day (FASD) is celebrated on September 9 at 9:09 a.m.  Events are held around the world to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking while pregnant.  Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Day was first celebrated on 9/9/99 to remind women around the world to refrain from drinking alcohol for nine months during pregnancy.
