NATIONAL CARAMEL MONTH
National Caramel Month is an annual designation observed in October. Whether you’re eating it drizzled over your popcorn, covering an apple on a stick, smothered on hot dough, or just on it’s own… Caramel is a mouth-watering, delicious snack. I wish I was exaggerating when I say that thinking about a gooey piece of caramel with sea salt sprinkled on top is actually making me drool a little bit right now, but I’m not. I’m not exaggerating at all. It may not be at the top of the healthy foods list, but indulging in caramel every once in a while, ESPECIALLY during national caramel month, is sure to fill your mouth and soul with pure bliss.
HOW TO OBSERVE #NationalCaramelMonth

Use #NationalCaramelMonth to post on social media. Take a picture of your caramel dessert and everyone is sure to be jealous, and jump on the train with you. Have you ever noticed that when you’re eating a big dinner and get to the end of your meal, eventually you feel like there’s no WAY you could fit another bite of chicken, veggies, or garlic bread into your mouth… But when dessert is offered, it feels like your stomach instantly makes room? That’s because the change in flavors intrigues us to the point of us almost feeling “hungry” for that specific snack.
Research shows that caramel is one of the most largely craved dessert in the U.S. because of the sugary, creamy, delectable flavor it carries. So, if you find yourself thinking about a caramel-filled dessert after dinner, you’re far from alone. Eat up!
