Make Dessert Pastry Easy

1 Package premade Crescent Roll dough
1/4 cup powder sugar
1/8 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Nadine Philp brings this fun recipe to us, one she used with her daughters when they were young for a Saturday morning breakfast treat.
While this recipe calls for making strawberry pastry, you can use any flavor you prefer. This is a fun project for young kids to participate in at home… Preheat oven to temperature per crescent roll packaging instructions.
Open crescent roll package and separate per instructions on packaging. Before rolling dough, spoon on your strawberry jam on the wide end being careful not to add to much jam. Roll each pastry triangle from the wide end to the narrow point. Place each strawberry pastry onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Place in oven and bake per instructions on packaging.
While pastries bake mix water and powdered sugar with vanilla extract together and stir into creamy texture. Once pastries are done and removed from the oven, allow to cool five minutes and then drizzle frosting over top. Serve and enjoy!
