What do you like to celebrate? KX Contest
National Day Calendar is looking for students from third to six grade to be guest hosts for the National Day Calendar Daily Vignette, featured on KXTV! Four students will be chosen from those who submit a reply to the question: What do you like to celebrate?
Please send us your response in a short paragraph (no more than 200 words) along with a 1-2 minute cell phone video on how you celebrate your favorite day (please feature just one.) It could be your birthday, a special holiday or one of our other 1500 fun and silly days like Talk Like A Pirate Day, Pretend To Be A Time Traveler Day or National Pizza Day!
Our 4 winners will spend time in the studio of KXTV reading our 1 minute script from a teleprompter. Each student will read one script and their recording will air on that National Day during the month of December.
The founder of National Day Calendar, Marlo Anderson, will be on hand to coach you through! On the day of the taping we invite you and your family for a meal with Marlo to celebrate! We will also provide t-shirts, scripts in advance and swag for our on air talent along with prizes for their classrooms.
Submit your contest on the form below no later than November 12, 2021. Taping Day will also be in November. Shows will begin airing the second week of December. We are so excited to celebrate with you!
Grand Prize: 4 Students will record the National Day Calendar Video Vignette to air on the KX Network and online streaming platforms. Prize package includes dinner for the winners and their immediate family with the founder of National Day Calendar, Marlo Anderson, at a restaurant in the Bismarck, ND area. Winners will also receive Celebrate Every Day Swag. Their classrooms will also receive assorted Celebrate Every Day swag as well.
All entries will receive a Celebrate Every Day T-Shirt (must be picked up at the National Day Headquarters at 712 West Main Street in Mandan).
