CLASSROOM – Pollinators
As we wrap up the month of June, the Classroom takes a look at National Pollinators Month. This is the perfect time to explore the importance of pollinators and how they are vital to our food supply. Not only are birds, bees, and butterflies pretty to look at and watch, but they spend lots of energy seeking nectar from the wildflowers and trees that grow around us. However, many pollinators are in decline.
HOW TO OBSERVE
Check out this week’s projects and share them with your students and their families. If you have ideas or comments you would like us to hear, share any of them by clicking on the contact us link.
Of course, as always, sharing on social media isn’t required; learning is. But if you do, please use #NDCClassroom to share on social media.
