CLASSROOM – Penny
Don’t let the title fool you – the Classroom has more than just a penny project for you this week. We’ve been busy filling the classroom with something every day to inspire, encourage and stimulate your imaginations at home and to keep our teachers excited about teaching, too. No matter where you are, we want you to Celebrate Every Day!
Even though this week’s topic centers around National Penny Day, be sure to check out the other days. We’ve added color pages, virtual tours and more puzzles to keep you busy. And on the days we’ve picked we’re adding activities and ideas to break up the monotony that is sure to creep in. We want to bring laughter and joy to your world and share a little of ours with you, too!
HOW TO OBSERVE
Download and print the coloring page. Challenge your students and children to save. Check out the other projects and see how you can incorporate into your own classrooms.
Of course, as always, sharing on social media isn’t required; learning is. But if you do, please use #NDCClassroom to share on social media.
THIS WEEK’S PROJECTS
We have coloring pages, a video, a business project and more! Give one or all of them a try. And be sure to check the rest of the Classroom pages out for more fun ideas and projects, too!
- Look back on National Mom and Pop Business Day for a fun home project to challenge children.
- Download and print today’s coloring page.
- Create a scavenger hunt with pennies. Challenge family members to find pennies around the house from specific years. The first one to collect all the pennies wins the scavenger hunt.
