INTERNATIONAL TRANSGENDER DAY OF VISIBILITY
International Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31st raises awareness about transgender rights. The day also recognizes the accomplishments of transgender and non-binary people and highlights the work that still needs to be done to achieve equality.

Activists first observed Transgender Day of Visibility in 2014. The following year a social media campaign increased support for the day. President Joe Biden proclaimed International Transgender Day of Visibility in 2021 to be observed on March 31st.
