  • INTERNATIONAL TRANSGENDER DAY OF VISIBILITY – March 31

    INTERNATIONAL TRANSGENDER DAY OF VISIBILITY

International Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31st raises awareness about transgender rights. The day also recognizes the accomplishments of transgender and non-binary people and highlights the work that still needs to be done to achieve equality.

Transgender and non-binary people are those who identify with a gender different from the one they were assigned at birth. In recent years, the transgender community has faced discrimination in various areas, including school, employment, and housing. The day encourages people to share their trans and non-binary stories and to support the trans community in their commitment to equality and acceptance.

The observance also recognizes those who’ve advocated for change and supported the trans community. It’s an opportunity to break down barriers and improve relationships among all genders.
