Priscilla lives in the Kansas City metro area.  She first heard about National Day Calendar in 2013 when she interned at a toy company headquartered in Grandview, MO.  Since then Priscilla has been inspired to Celebrate Every Day, a spirit she has incorporated into her social media strategy for the various brands she represents.  She is a strong believer in the power positivity and this message really hit home while answering an onstage question as a pageant finalist in 2018.

Her answer led Priscilla to create the “Positivity: Pass It On: Navigating the Reel vs. Real of Social Media and Harnessing Face-to-Face Communication Project.”  As an Ambassador for National Day Calendar, she is thrilled to focus on her belief in empowerment through perseverance, positivity, pageantry, and parenting.

She has worked for a BetaBlox start-up, higher education, an advertising agency, engineering/environmental/construction management, and consumer products. The causes that are near and dear to her include mental health, stroke and heart health, women’s health and higher education.  She has also served on various boards and committees to benefit her local botanical garden, women’s health organization, professional development and scholarships for college-bound students.  Born on Veterans Day, Priscilla is a vibrant force of nature and you can catch her dancing to a fun beat on a whim and being a fun wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin and everything in between.

As an Ambassador, Priscilla loves to celebrate National Days by showing up to live events.  Her favorite National Days are: National Pi Day (March 14), National Let’s Laugh Day (March 19) National Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day (fourth Thursday in April), National Donut Day (first Friday in June), National Cheese Day (June 4), National Flip Flop Day (June 14), National Avocado Day (July 31), National Dance Day (third Saturday in September), National Coffee Day (September 29), National Pasta Day (October 17), and National Make a Difference Day (fourth Saturday in October).
