JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Additive Manufacturing and Textile Production Technician to join the National Day Calendar team. The successful candidate will be responsible for using a variety of technologies, including lasers, 3D printers, and a heat press. Candidate will create custom designs on clothing and accessories, as well as producing other additive manufactured items.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include:
- Operate and maintain various additive manufacturing technologies, including lasers and 3D printers to create items for sale.
- Utilize heat press to put designs on shirts, caps, and other apparel items.
- Collaborate with designers to understand project requirements and create designs that meet customer needs.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve issues that arise with machines or designs.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies when needed.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Inventory control.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job qualifications include:
- At least 2 years of experience in additive manufacturing, textile production, or a related field.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, laser cutting, and heat press technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with design software and the have ability to use it to create custom designs.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Must be capable of meeting short deadlines.
- Must have ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Working Hours
The position is full-time, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
