Amanda says, “As a Christian radio station, we are always looking for ways to encourage our listeners and use fun, humor, and opportunities to do things as families. We use the National Day Calendar in our show prep to celebrate National Days and have fun with certain days on air. For example, we have our listeners call in on National Tell A Joke Day. We just celebrated National Trivia Day with some fun trivia questions. We are very excited to launch our first 883 Random Acts of Kindness this February centered around National RAK Day on February 17. We spread the fun on our social media channels as well inviting our listeners and followers to join the fun with National Days. We also watch for National Months too. This January, we are promoting National Blood Donor Month and encouraging local blood banks to post their blood drives on our free Event Calendar.
Yes, we LOVE attending events and also creating our own family-fun events. From June 2021 to the end of 2021 we did over a dozen events and we love engaging and having fun with our local listeners and community. Honestly, we have been a little limited with Covid precautions, but we are always looking for ways to be more engaging with our community.”
