NATIONAL DIVE BAR DAY

On July 7, raise a toast to the place where friends gather and memories are made. It’s National Dive Bar Day!

From the one-time speakeasy to the little hole-in-the-wall, the dive bar is like an old pair of jeans; it just fits right. During the week, we can stop in, our team will be playing on the TV, and the beverages will be icy cold. The same dart and pool leagues meet every year, and familiar faces go head to head. Sweethearts still have date nights at the beach shack where they met 20 years ago, and in small towns across the country, the dive bar serves the best steaks for miles around.

The dive bar is more than just a place to kick back and relax. It’s where we mark out life’s plans, celebrate its successes and make memories to treasure. We make friends who become family and remember those who have left us behind.

National Dive Bar Day is about the first place to come to mind when it’s time to celebrate, to hang out with friends or just feel at home once again.

HOW TO OBSERVE

Join Seagram’s 7 Crown and visit your favorite local dive bar. Have a 7&7 on 7/7 or your beverage of choice and give them a shout out. Use #NationalDiveBarDay to share on social media.

NATIONAL HOP-A-PARK DAY

The first Saturday in July is set aside for National Hop-a-Park Day.  Celebrating the nice weather and a holiday week, Hop-a-Park Day encourages us to enjoy the public parks, green spaces and outdoors as much as possible.  Get away from the technology, televisions and the tablet and take a stroll or throw a frisbee around.  Parks are centerpieces of our communities making it possible for many who don’t have a yard to enjoy time in some outdoor space.

HOW TO OBSERVE

To celebrate, visit the different parks in your area. Pack a picnic and bring a friend Post on social media using #NationalHopaParkDay.

NATIONAL FATHER DAUGHTER TAKE A WALK DAY

National Father Daughter Take a Walk Day is observed annually on July 7th.  This day was created to promote the benefits of family bonding time between fathers and daughters as well as the benefits of physical activity.

The memories that are made during your time together will stay with you forever.  During the summer season, there are many incredible places to walk and enjoy nature as you spend time talking, laughing and bonding.  Time spent together is more valuable than any other gift you can give a child, no matter how old your child is.

Setting the example of a healthy lifestyle for your children is also a valuable gift.  Walking has many health benefits and can be incorporated into your child’s life at a young age.  Walking is also a great daily activity for the whole family to do together.

HOW TO OBSERVE

Fathers and daughters join each other for a walk. If that is not possible, think of your father or daughter while you walk. Post on social media using #FatherDaughterTakeAWalkDay.

However, it is the kind of dough from which the noodles are made.  Elbow macaroni is the most common in the United States, but macaroni may be straight noodles, curved, shells or many other shapes.

Macaroni is used in many different dishes from casseroles and hot dishes to soups and salads.
